“At any moment in the life of the flock, some church members may be in any of the following conditions: fruitfully serving well, ignorant, lazy, discouraged, wandering, procrastinating, stubbornly turning away, or rebellious.
All of these that are sins threaten the life of the believer and the whole congregation through that one individual.
A wise pastor will choose the right tool for the task, working well with the other elders in the congregation.”
