On 15th April 2009 I began a search. A search for a catchy song that taught the books of the Bible in order when I was in Sunday School.
On 18th November 2009 progress was made. A lady called Paula left a comment with the words for the song (both Old and New Testament’s).
Advent began on Sunday with a comment from Holly telling me that my search is over!
Both ‘The Books of the Part I (Old Testament Song)’ and ‘The Books of the Bible Part II (New Testament Song)’ are on an album called Family Circle by The McLean Family Singer which is available to buy on CD HERE.
But even better news, both songs can be downloaded invidually for $1.50 each which is a bargain! You can buy MP3s of both the Old Testament and New Testament songs from the links below.

I have the old testament which is on one cd and the new testament version is on the follow up cd or was that vice versa?

Thanks so much for following up. I will be sharing this with some of my friends who have been impressed with my 4 year old’s singing (personally, I like his singing better than the “professionals” – but maybe because he’s my son!!!)

I just got a call from someone in Washington who had seen this site and asked about downloading individual songs. That option is no longer available on the site, but the album with BOTH old and new testament songs IS available on http://www.restorationaudio.org site. You can listen to them for free first by clicking on the downloads tab and going to the bandcamp site. Then, if you want to order, you can download the album immediately or order it from Restoration Audio. Hope this is helpful!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! My siblings and I listened to the “Bible Song Sing-a-long” tape all the time when we were little, and I still have so many of those songs memorized. This is how I learned the books of the Bible too, and I’ve been trying to find the tape for several years. Thanks for the links!!
