Books at a Glance is a useful resource for busy pastors to keep up with more books in less time and make informed choices on which books to purchase and read through.
“Many pastors are geared either toward reclusiveness or to being extroverted.
The biblical balance, I believe, is somewhere in the middle as we should seek to be loving pastors and skilled teachers of the Word.
We all trend in one direction or the other.
It might be helpful to examine regularly your week to ensure that you are keeping up with your responsibilities of pastoral oversight but also devoting uninterrupted time to sermon and teaching preparation.
Are you growing closer to the sheep or avoiding them?
Are you spending enough time in the study?”
